This is an adorable baby's plate in heavy ceramic china. It has a painted blue line border around the top rim of the plate. It's painted Baby's Plate at the top in gold. The graphics have faded due to age but are still in good condition. The center depicts a nursery rhyme Hickory, Dickory, Dock The mouse ran up the clock with kids around a clock and they are adorable! It has faded but it is still so neat! It has only ever had one owner and was beloved! It is about 7 inches in diameter and is 1.5" deep. It is such an interesting concept now that we give babies now rubberized plates, but this heavy piece was a great idea for a little one just starting to eat and what a keepsake that lasts through time! A beautiful piece in good condition there is crazing but no cracks or chips visible. There are 2 smaller chips on the base underneath. The plate weighs about 1 pound 12 ounces!
