Antique Autographed Red and White Quilt - Antique Quilt- Embroidered

This is a unique quilt! It is not often that you find these anymore but sometimes people would sign quilts with their name and occassionally you will find a friendship quilt where everyone did a section and exchanged them and then you would assemble the quilt with everyone's pieces. This one is unusual as there are many names written on each of the diamonds in elaborate cursive handwriting...names such as Mrs. Maggie Matthews, Mrs. Lucinda B. Taylor, Mrs. Lydia Johnson, Fred White, and so many more! 69"x87"

It does have some staining but I would personally not wash it in fear of washing away the names. The overall condition is good with some staining throughout but no holes on the front- there are a few small holes on the back but they do not go through to the front they are on the backer only.

The majority of the items in my shop are vintage or antique, e.g., have been used.Vintage and antique items by their very nature have some wear, imperfections, and signs of age/time.
