Antique Beaded Holder- Seed Bead Holder

I am unsure of what this was intended to hold, but there are two compartments and there is a top closure that comes down over the two compartments. It is beautifully made and intricate. There is a hole in the base where beads are missing but it seems that there are no loose beads currently at risk of coming away from the piece. About 5" across When open about 8.5" long. Compartments are about 2" tall.
