Vintage Cold Painted Cast Metal Bookends - Joan Of Arc (Jeanne D'Arc)

This is a pair of cast metal bookends featuring Joan of Arc. Each bookend is approx 4" tall, 3 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" deep. Each still retains most of its cold painted color, which I assume is original but can't be sure if it was ever touched up over the years. The base has a little green felt that could use re sticking on one of the bookends. These work really well as bookends, but they do not stand alone as they work as pressure against a book so you would need to have them against a wall, surface, book etc. They are fabulous and so unique.

The majority of the items in my shop are vintage or antique, e.g., have been used. Vintage and antique items by their very nature have some wear, imperfections, and signs of age/time.
