This is a vintage 1960's Steiff mohair owl named Wittie. He was made by Steiff in Germany.
Wittie is airbrushed spotted mohair with felt feet, huge green plastic eyes & horsehair tufts on top of his head. He has a swivel head and stands well on his own, the felt feet and tail feathers contains metal giving additional stability.
This little owl is in good vintage shape but no longer has his button or chest tag.
