Antique German Carl Schneider Bisque Porcelain Young Girl with Grapes Vase
This is a lovely antique German Carl Schneider bisque piece. The girl is standing in front of what looks like a vine of grapes and is holding a hand full of grapes. She has flowers painted on her dress and an apron full of grapes. Maybe the perfect wine cork holder! She is a vase and in good shape for the age with no glued or repaired spots. She does have a slit in the bisque on the back that I am not sure how it happened as it is about 2" across and is like the pottery was sliced there before drying... but regardless It is sturdy but would not be water tight. There are two tiny little flea bite chips along the back top edge. She has a stamp on the base. 6.5" tall at the tallest point by 6" wide at the widest by about 4.25" deep vase portion.
The majority of the items in my shop are vintage or antique, e.g., have been used. Vintage and antique items by their very nature have some wear, imperfections, and signs of age/time. This is what gives them their character, charm, and collectability. Please examine the photos carefully for any flaws that I may have missed in my description. My photos are considered part of the item’s description. Also, please feel free to message for more photos and or details.
