This is a gorgeous vintage framed print by Buckbee-Brehm, likely from the 1920s, featuring a poem titled "Friend." The poem reads: "If all good traits I could re-blend And build myself anew I'd like to be as fine a friend As I have found in you." The print has an art deco style, with gold embellishments and a scene depicting a person sitting near a tree, possibly within a castle setting. Buckbee-Brehm was known for producing these types of framed motto prints, often given as gifts.
About 7.5"x4.5" in size- tape on the backer and a small loop to hang with. A beautiful piece with great details!
The majority of the items in my shop are vintage or antique, e.g., have been used.Vintage and antique items by their very nature have some wear, imperfections, and signs of age/time. This is what gives them their character, charm, and collectability. Please examine the photos carefully for any flaws that I may have missed in my description. My photos are considered part of the item’s description. I define vintage as 20+ years old and vintage indicates age. Also, please feel free to message for more photos and or details.
