This is such a fun find! It is the Happy Land Drawing and Painting Book! It has the best cover worthy of display on its own! It was made in 1923. It has instructions inside for the little painter. The first few pages are similar to a paint by number- the left side has the painting space and the right side has the lines to each portion of the picture telling them what to paint what color. Most of these have been painted or started. Then there are pages following that have the full color version of a picture on the left and the sketch to be colored in on the right page. The illustrations are amazing and each deserves its own frame! The child or children who painted and colored these did well too! 11x8.75" in size. The overall condition is really good inside- no torn pages- all pages appear to be here. Most of the pages have been started but there are a few that have been untouched or barely started. Some water damage to the back cover see photo but the pages are fine.
The majority of the items in my shop are vintage or antique, e.g., have been used. Vintage and antique items by their very nature have some wear, imperfections, and signs of age/time.
