This is a Steiff Christmas Tree Bird- used to often clip in a tree, but also brilliant just as she is on this sweet bird swing and stand! She is about 5" from beak to tail edge and made from mohair. Her body is brown, orange, and yellow. Her face is brown and yellow. Her eyes are black buttons, her beak is grey plastic, and her tail feathers are made from brown felt. She has a green clip on her bottom, making her the ideal ornament for a holiday tree, or a year round decoration in any setting or collection.
She was made in 2002 in this size only in an edition size of 5,000 as a worldwide limited edition. This one is number 283. She has her Steiff button and her white ID tag.
The green stand has a bird swing that the bird is clipped to. The stand is about 9.75" tall and has a base that is 3.25" in diameter.
