This is a fabulous basket! It is perfect to use or display or both! It opens on top with the lid. It has two handles to hold with and is in good shape. The lid is heavy (ish) compared to the basket so you would need to prop it if you were going to display it open. It is 16"x9.5"x9.25" tall. The wood is woven and is not super tight if you wanted to put tiny things inside you would need to add a liner. A great piece!!
