So if I could describe the perfect picnic quilt this would be it! How sweet is this strawberry quilt?! It has appliquéd strawberries in each square. The colors are great and the binding is in good shape and green. The quilt has some wear to it mostly in the white quilting in the red areas. The quilting is hand done and some of the quilting has come out or has started to in some areas as well-see photos. The strawberries are appliqued on well. There are a few light stains around the quilt- I tried to capture as much as I can in photos- all are light and almost looks to be un stained until you really look close. The two shams come with the quilt. The shams each have 2 strawberries on them and a 3.5" ruffle all the way around the sham. It has an envelope like back so you can wash the sham. The sham is about 27"x17.5" for the pillow size. The quilt is about 70"x103" in size. The color is fantastic on this one! The backer is white.
